There's ALWAYS a piece of equipment that a true professional video production company wants or thinks they need. This is one of those pieces that will get used a LOT and will make a remarkable improvement in production values.

It seems that the main reason I work for myself is so that I can buy new equipment… Like this EZ jib. Uh oh, don’t tell my wife… she wants to do other things, like eat, and go on vacations, and finish some renovations that have been going on FOREVER. So, do us BOTH a favor. Why don’t you get me to actually USE this great new tool on your next production, so that I can make some progress on both fronts! It’s one of those tools that simply raises the “quality” bar to a higher level (pun intended). It’s also pretty quick and easy to use, AND it isn’t very expensive either! I’ll read the manual (yeah, SOME of us guys actually do that)… and then let’s USE IT!

HemaPrompt FG is a guaiac-based in vitro occult blood test that indicates possible internal bleeding. Franklin Video was hired to create a video that would demonstrate the many clear advantages of this product and to show how it works in a clear and concise video. The developer solution is built in to each slide, so there is no developer bottle to lose, misplace or misuse. The test is portable and helps avoid cross contamination. Each slide is also equipped with internal controls to monitor the effectiveness of the chemicals and the test. Results can be read from the card through a clear plastic window after 60 seconds. For more information visit www.hemaprompt.com. Video produced by Franklin Video.

A few years ago my daughter was bored and was looking for something to do. She asked if we could make a video. Here’s what we came up with. Many adults have no idea how to fix a flat tire…. However… “It’s so easy that even a 4 year old can do it!” Join Rachel as she makes fast work of this seemingly difficult chore. Even adults can learn how to fix a flat tire from a child! NO… she didn’t do the hard parts like jacking the car up herself, but it was fun making it LOOK like she did!

Doing it yourself might cost you a LOT more than you save! Learn three key advantages for hiring a professional crew to produce your video. By not using professionals to save money, you MIGHT be costing yourself a whole lot more than you save. If you are trying to save money by doing it yourself, and your end result doesn’t make you look good… well, I guess THAT is what people are going to think of you. You can’t go back and make a new first impression. Make sure that people’s first impression is the one you want them to have. Take the time and make the investment to just do it right the first time!

Whatever your level of video production may be, we’ll walk you through the planning phase of your project step by step. We’ll help you decide on the format you need, the length of the program, cost alternatives, the time involved for production- every detail.

This is where the rubber meets the road. All the planning comes together to shoot your video production… Showtime!

Franklin Video is equipped and prepared to meet a wide diversity of video production needs. We regularly shoot in various configurations, with crews of all sizes, depending on your specific needs and budget.

Whatever your project needs, Franklin Video can provide it. We offer our clients a consistent, ready resource for ENG, Commercial, documentary, Industrial or Corporate video production… often under extremely tight deadlines.

For larger, more involved film or video productions, we can coordinate crews, equipment, schedules, locations – just about anything you need for almost any type of production. Film, video, studio, location, multi-camera, satellite uplinked- you name it, we’ll make it happen.

Post production is how you put together all the footage, pictures, sounds and other pieces to finish creating your video.

Presently we have 3 post production video editing systems. We use Adobe products, not only because of the ease of integration with AfterEffects, Photoshop, and other staple Adobe programs, but because Premier Pro now offers unsurpassed Multiple Layer realtime editing. With the advent of the “Mercury Playback Engine” and 64 bit processing, we can edit up to 9 layers of Uncompressed Red footage in REALTIME. Take That… Final Cut! If you need to integrate with FinalCut… or other major non-linear systems…. NO PROBLEM. Premiere pro can seamlessly import or export a timeline in an XML format. Interfacing couldn’t be easier.
